Hi, I'm Sherri, an author and HOPE poet. I live to inspire youth, young adults, seniors and hopefully you. I published inspirational poetry in National Black Child Development Institute calendars or 18 years, presented custom poems for Bonnie Branch Middle School Poetry Slams for 5 years and created senior poetry and gifts for 10 years. Emerging from the shell of an abused childhood, painful divorce and single parenthood, I struggled to find my voice buried in my pain but found power through my pen. I connected my Pain to Purpose because they’re intertwined. Where they intersect, PEARLS are revealed. Through inspirational writing, I healed my pain and found my purpose of helping others to overcome life’s challenges through Hope Remedies which: Enable you to better adapt to adversity, Encourage you to dream about possibilities, & Improve mental health.
